A fellowship-trained Glaucoma and Anterior-segment specialist who specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery. He completed his medical school training in 2000 from the Michael Degroote School of Medicine, McMaster University. After completing his Ophthalmology residency at Queen’s University, he went on to complete a subspecialty fellowship in Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Surgery at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Hasanee is currently Associate Professor of Surgery at McMaster University. He has received numerous teaching awards and is heavily involved in teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Hasanee is also co-director of the Glaucoma Fellowship at McMaster University which trains international eye surgeons.
